This year's User Meeting was a complete success.
More than 30 participants from 19 companies of the textile and clothing industry followed our invitation to Strandhotel Seehof in Pfofeld/Langlau on 21st and 22nd June, 2012.
As every year, our users received an overview of the latest developments and innovations within our ERP business software texware/CS. Some of our business partners completed the event with some interesting lectures on selected topics.

After a brief welcome by Mr. Römer, CEO of update texware GmbH, Mr. Uwe Keddi (Rodata GmbH, Neuss) opened our User Meeting with a presentation on »Trends in the Auto-ID-industry«.
Subsequently Mr. Mirko Sachse (ProComp Professional Computer GmbH, Marktredwitz) spoke on »Digital storage of customer and supplier documents«, »Product Data Management« and on how to implement a website with the shop software »ProSale24«.

The start of the second series of lectures was made by Mr. Ralph Ende (AS-update GmbH, Dortmund) and Mr. Gunther Wiedmann (prohandel GmbH, Bielefeld). Besides »profactory«, the Retail Management System for own stores and customer areas, they presented »promoney«, the additional POS system for own shops.
After that Mr. Martin Speidel, Product Development Manager of update texware GmbH, showed the developments and innovations within the current texware/CS releases 12.1 and 12.2.

After lunch at hotel Mr. Stefan Wolfrum and Mr. Martin Rückert, both Project Managers of update texware GmbH, presented our solution for a »Decentralized order entry«. The presentation of the communication process between the ERP business software texware/CS and the representative´s mobile input device (laptop, tablet PC etc.) was met with great interest.
On both days participants had the opportunity to visit booths of our business partners. There they obtained information on their offerings and its possible use in conjunction with texware/CS. This offer was accepted very busy by our users. In addition to informative conversations there were already initiated some business relationships.
Due to the valuable shared ideas and experiences and the positive response from our users and business partners, we can look back on a very successful User Meeting 2012. In this context we would also like to thank all participants and contributors.
