International trade fair for the processing of textiles and flexible materials
With 16.000 visitors the »Texprocess 2011« celebrated a very successful premiere. Joint with the fairs »Techtextil« and »Material Vision« it is the new innovation forum for the textile industry. 330 exhibitors from 40 countries presented their world premieres to trade visitors from 86 countries - innovations, ranging from technical textiles and non-woven fabrics to IT-solutions for the entire textile and clothing industry.
The update texware GmbH, market leader for textile ERP business solutions in German-speaking countries, presented the established business software texware/CS. Beyond this it presented further highlights and new developments of its product portfolio:

The ERP business software texware/CS was designed specifically for the requirements of the textile and clothing industry and the textile trade, covering the entire textile value chain. Its new .NET-surface, which makes it even more convenient and user-friendly, convinced existing update texware-customers as well as interested.

The newly developed second generation of texware/EDI was a further highlight of the update texware GmbH. This web based application now enables the user to perform mappings by himself by using its wizard-driven web surface. This effective and affordable solution for process-optimization fascinated the visitors at the booth.
»» texware/DeepSee
This as well newly developed Business Intelligence tool allows fast and flexible ad-hoc-analyses by using quickly generated dashboards, scorecards and analyzers. Thus it is the base for decisions for optimal corporate management.The possibility to integrate data from existing ERP systems and to generate reports automatically makes the use of texware/DeepSee a worthwhile investment. Not only existing texware/CS-customers were convinced by that.

This web based software module provides a real-time machine-data-collection, -monitoring and –analysis. Informative reports on the current production can be created, malfunctions can be detected early and immediately removed. Using texware/Monitoring means faster response times, increasing efficiency and productivity, continuous process control and quality improvement - basic principles for achieving the overall business objectives.

A special visitor attraction turned out to be the exhibited inspection solution with touchscreen. The visitors got a demonstration of the theme »inspection« and could also try themselves to handle this application. The audience was fascinated by the simple touchscreen handling with its clearly structured and easy to read screens with X/Y-coordinates-transmission.
The »Texprocess 2011« was a complete success for the update texware GmbH, not only because of the great booth, blazing in blue and yellow and attracting crowds of visitors. The large number of booth visitors as well as their deep interest in details exceeded the expectations of the fair team, quantitatively and qualitatively. The positive and profound discussion topics at the booth, the enormous interest in the latest innovations and developments of the texware-product-family and the positive response of many long-time existing customers and potentially new customers during and after the fair, made the »Texprocess 2011«, according to salesmanager Herbert Witzgall, »one of the most successful fairs he ever participated in his sales activity at update texware GmbH«. Even CEO Friedrich J. Römer was very pleased with the results of the fair and called the »Texprocess 2011« »a very successful event that helped to attach valuable contacts.«
